BIESSE ARTECH SKILL

BIESSE introduced the first machine of the Biesse Artech Skill series as a small, cheap CNC-machining centre in 2005.

With the new market BIESSE Artech are supposed to especially appeal to artisan businesses.

Models

The initial model SKILL 300 by Biesse Artech was a small boom machine with a console table.

This has been complemented for one model with grid table, which got the term Skill 300 FTK.

After that the machine with console table got the term Skill 300 CTS.

With the Biesse Artech SKILL G FT a completely new model has been introduced in 2011. Though it's a gantry type CNC-centre which has been especially designed for the Nesting process. This model was identical in construction with the Biesse Rover A G FT, though it was only available with smaller machine tables and fewer equipment options.

On basis of the Skill G FT a machine with console table has also been offered, although this one has not been marketed under the name Skill but Rover K.

The production of the series Skill 300 has been ceased, for a short time the Skill 300 machines have been produced simultaneously to the Rover G FT.

From 2012 on the brand name Biesse Artech has not been used any more. The series SKILL G FT has now been marketed under the name Biesse.

2016 the series Skill has been ceased. The Skill G FT so far has been renamed to Rover S, but had technologically nothing to do with the already produced Biesse Rover S from the mid-2000's.
