HOMAG ESPANA CV 11

The CV 11 ist eine vertical panel saw of the Spanish manufacturer Homag Espana.

Construction and function

Being different to other vertical panel saws (or wall saws) there is no movable sawing beam with a sawing aggregate being mounted on it turnable. On this saw, the cutting line is arranged centrally. Similarily to a beamsaw the sawing aggregate moves along the cutting line under the workpiece support while a pressure bar presses the workpiece against the support.

The saw CV 11 is serially assembled with a second sawing aggregate for the cutting of postforming workpieces.

The CVP 10/12 is of the same construction type but the cutting length is only 1 200 mm.
