There two different types of coil magazines
- Disc magazine for 1 roll: Consists of a round support area for the rolled-up edge material as well as a spike in the middle and holding devices and the sides, which should prevent the roll material from falling off the disc. This is followed by the feed channel, mostly as part of the parallel existing magazine for single strips, which is equipped with a rubber roller when processing thin PVC edges. Depending on the construction of the machine, first the pre-cut trimmer, then the gluing zone and the pressure zone follow. In some machines, the pneumatic trimmer is located between the first and the following pressure rollers. These machines have a pneumatic retraction device, which pull the edge material out of the gluing zone after cutting. If the pneumatic trimmer is located before the first pressure roller, this retraction device is not necessary.
- Multi-roll magazine: To be able to process many workpieces with different decorative edges in a short time, there are magazines for several edge rolls and the corresponding edge feed zones, which automatically feed the right edge for each workpiece. These magazine usually stand next to the machine.
