Until approx. the end of 2011, the Biesse-Group differed between machines designed mainly for crafts industry (Biesse Artech) and on the other hand bigger, high-performance systems for series production and industrial use (SELCO).

The series 'SEKTOR' was first only offered by BIESSE ARTECH. Since the end of 2011 no panel saws built by BIESSE ARTECH have been available anymore. The series name 'SEKTOR' though remained and SELCO offers beamsaws under the name SECTOR 4. This series is the successor of EB, which was produced since the beginning of the 1990s.

Two models are available, which differ in the saw blade projection:

• SEKTOR 450: 75mm
• SEKTOR 470: 90mm

In both models there is a difference between K1 and K2:

• Version K1 enables the adjustment of the saw blade projection only in two 2 steps
• Version K2 can adjust the saw blade projection and the opening in the pressure beam automatically and continuously variable to the panel's thickness

Both machines are available with many options, for example a retrofittable lifting table for the rear machine table.
