WEEKE BSTWOOD

BSTWOOD is a software which is used on Weeke multiple boring systems. The user of the machine sets up the machine with the help of the software`s outputs.

Programming process

The user puts the workpiece data into the graphical user surface. After the input of the machine data (number of boring supports, number of boring spindles) the machine functions are assigned to the several workings. Following an optimisation software calculates the number of the required spindles and the position of the boring supportes. Eventual colissions will be considered. The output is a workpiece drawing and a picture with the positions of the boring supports. The user may chose whether the processing should be done on several machines in a line or on only one machine in several throughfeeds.
