The Leitz-User-Lexicon is part of the Leitz-Lexicon, that the company Leitz published since 1997, which is a comprehensive reference book for the processing of wood and plastics. The Edition 6, published in 2011, has about 800 pages and is available as printout in German or English language.

The so called user lexicon, an appendix in form of a textbook, teaches the reader basic informations about working and cutting materials, about the production process while processing solid wood, wooden materials and plastics as well as the collaboration of materials and tools.

The user-lexicon is considered as standard literature and an approved teaching aid in the vocational and technical tools of the woodworking industry.
