PANHANS EURO

The series designation "EURO" was introduced by the manufacturer Panhans for its beamsaws in about 1993/1994. Until then, the models of the series "Type 697" and "Type 693" were produced in four versions: SH 50, SH 70, SH 90 and SH 110 (SH = Schnitthoehe/ cutting height). The models 693 - SH 70 and 693 - SH 90 were produced most often.

The 'EURO' is produced at the site AT-4563 Micheldorf - since 2011 by the AWB Maschinenbau GmbH, a company that belongs to the Schelling- Group.

about 1994 The first 'EURO' models were the EURO 5 (70mm), EURO 10 (82mm), EURO 12 (92mm), EURO 30 (105mm) and the EURO 32 (110mm) (saw blade projection)
about 1995 Change of the machine colour from green to blue-white was executed
about 1996 EURO 2 (70mm) (colour white-green, as standard machines)

In the 2000s the manufacturer introduced another series:

  • Model 'S 45', mit angle adjustable saw blade
  • EUROSTAR, as successor of the EURO 30, EURO 10, EURO 12 models - for industrial use
  • EURO 5.1 as successor machine of the EURO 5
  • POLYSTAR - for plastics industry
  • ECOPAN - as inexpensive successor model of the EURO 5 with standard configuration
