Feed-through veneer press

Pressing plants for coating derived timber material boards with veneer, special foils,CPL or HPL.

Technical features

Construction and technology are very similar to veneer presses. The pressing procedure is also accomplished in cycles. The difference is to be found in the charging and discharging by band conveyor which allows to integrate the press into a machining sequence. To guarantee a constant height of the support surface for the workpiece feed, feed-through veneer-presses normally are top-piston presses. That means, the pressure is applied from above, the lower heating plate height being fixed.

The number of daylights can vary.
