Machines for the application of foils, including to flat carrier materials with a minimum width of 450 mm. Narrower workpieces are coated on profile wrapping machines.

Technical method

Throughfeed processing is implemented. It is first necessary to glue the workpieces. The hotmelt is applied to the workpiece surface here through spraying or by rollers. The workpieces fed through the system are usually heated, in order to prevent a premature bonding of the glue. The coating material is now placed on the workpiece by a roller or as sheet material, in readiness for subsequent pressing by a calender roll. The glue cools here and bonds.
