Pressing units

Pressure components on carcase presses and frame presses, transmitting the applied pressure to the workpiece.

Features of carcase presses

Continuous slats	Interlocking slats that are movable because of their method of construction. Presses of this kind are also called laminating presses.
Pressure beam/shoes	A continuous pressure beam with seperately movable press shoes/ pressure components mounted on it.
Flat press	Frequent feature of continous presses (the supporting surface and the top part of the clamping area fully act on the carcase) but also used as gap press for individual manufacture
Single pressure shoes	Seperately adjustable pressure shoes without continuous beam
