Production period

From the mid-1970s until 1998, whereas the 'lower' types were not built until 1989 and the 'higher' types were not built in the 1970s

  • Edgeband thickness up to 20 mm
  • Feed rate continuously variable up to 25 m/min

  • either 50 Hz gear motors or 200 Hz version
  • either Quickmelt-glue system or standard quick heating tank
  • Since the mid-1980s
  • only HOMAG processing aggregates in 200 Hz version
  • Quickmelt-glue system as standard
  • Corner rounding for profiled edges on the top/bottom
  • stable machine base

Special equipment

Type designation

  • For older machines, the designation 20/50 or 20/200 refers to the current frequency of the milling motors.

Parallel series

  • Series Brandt KA and Brandt KA/E are 'sister series', the difference lies in the glue system.
