HOLZ-HER EVOLUTION 7405

Vertical CNC-machining centre newly introduced on the LIGNA 2013 by HOLZ-HER. At the same time also the model Evolution 7403 was presented.
In comparison to Evolution 7403 the execution Evolution 7405 offers the following additional features:
precise outer profiling of all four workpiece edges allows the complete formatting of the panels. The result are perfect formatted and workpieces with finished joined and profiled edges (patent pending)
with the upgrade on the 6,5 kW HSK spindle with 6-fold tool changer also profile millings, point thinnings, engravings etc. with automatic tool change in this machine class are possible
Machining dimensions of 3500 mm in X and 920 mm in Y direction
Material thicknesses of 8 up to 70 mm
Possibility to process also curved workpieces like furniture fronts, counter plates etc.
A material saving clamping system (patent pending since 2013) vacuum-based with a software-controlled suction cup positioning equipped with through hole identification that allows the all-round processing of workpieces with a length up to 1300 mm without rechucking
The available milling spindles offer a performance of 5,6 kW or 6,5 kW and are able to take workpieces with a diameter up to 80 mm
