Workpiece keying system used by SCM for CNC- machining centre, which was developed especially for the usage on fixed gantry machines of the Ergon series.

Synchron is a mechanic keying system. The router head is floating mounted and firmly connected with the keying system. The keying system is adjusted in a defined distance to the workpiece surface. Thus, little surface tolerances of the raw panel can be corrected with respect to the values deposited in the CNC control without changing them.

A mechanic copy system offers the advantages of a lower price and an easier technical construction in comparison to an electric copy system.

However, it is very unflexible and enables only limited processing speeds.
