Purpose and principle

The 'Paint Shuttle' is used with sample parts and in low volume production. A high pressure piston pump is fitted together with a 2-litre paint tank on a shuttle carriage on the linear axis of a lacquering system, and drives back and forth during the painting process - hence the name 'shuttle'. For the purpose of changing the colour, the paint in the lines is fed back to the tank, a flushing hose is connected and a new paint tank is then attached. The compact design enables short paint lines, economical material consumption and low disposal costs. The spraying system is suitable for the majority of 1K and 2K paints on a water and solvent basis and functions optionally according to the Airless or the Airmix principle.
