Special type of edgebanding aggregate for CNC- machining centres from the Homag Group.

The edgefolding aggregate was developed from the mid-2000s as an expanded variant of the 360° gluing aggregate. With the introduction of the Poweredge gluing unit it was given the official name "powerEdge Edgefolding".

Mode of operation

The edgefolding aggregate largely constitutes the basic aggregate for edgebanding, although it can also be used to glue 90° corners. For this purpose a special saw blade is used to vertically scarify the edge material on the inside, although it does not cut this. This facilitates bending through 90° corners without a visible joint.
