In order to guarantee a high throughput on the one hand, as well as absolutely parallel veneer package cutting, veneer guillotines are equipped with two blades.
Principle
- The veneer package is placed on the machine table and slid against a fence.
- After entering the desired width the table moves to the desired cutting position, the pressure beam fixes the workpiece in place and the cut is initiated.
- The top blade cuts the front edge of the veneer package from the top - the bottom blade cuts the rear edge from below. Both cuts take place in a workpiece clamping system, so that the veneer package is not able to move intermediately and to ensure that cutting is absolutely parallel.
- After this the machine table drives back to the starting position
