The BIESSE Group develops and produces machinery for the furniture and interior as well as the industry and offers a full range of solutions for the entire cycle of the industrial processing of wood, derived timber products , composite materials, glass and stone working. The parent company 'BIESSE' is located in Pesaro, Italy/Tuscany.

2016

Within the "Xylexpo Trade Fair - 2016" BIESSE announced the purchase of 100% of the shares of UNITEAM. The company wants to gain further experience in the woodworking industry.

2015

Reorganization of the managements in the woodworking field

2013

Packaging manufacturer HORBITEK replaces DIGIPACSISTEMI, becoming Biesse Partner.

2011

BIESSE made an investment by purchasing a manufacturing plant in China (Dongguan). BMC (Biesse Manufacturing China) covers a total area of 66.000 square meter (43.000 sqm production) and is capable to produce 200 machines per month. The China Tech Centre (showroom and training) has an indoor space of 600 sqm. Spareparts can be provided from here and from the Shanghai office as well.

The managing director is Robert Selci, son of Giancarlo Selci, the founder of the company; network of 30 branches and offices around the world

Incorparation of DIGIPACSISTEMI to BIESSE Group

Opening the new factory in Nelamangala (Bangalore)/India; BIESSE holds more than 250 industrial patents, has over 2.500 employees worldwide and is present in over 100 countries

Purchase of 60% of the shares of Bre.Ma. Brenna Macchine Srl; launch of the 5-axes head of the Rover C

Production volume: 7 CNC-machines/day; since the Ligna the models Rover 22, 24, 27, 35 and 37 have been replaced by Rover C; take-over of the company C.E.M.

Take-over of the control manufacturer CNi , who prior to that delivered controls for BIESSE (only for the software division): out of it developped later the BIESSE-made machine controls NC 1000 and XP 600; participation in the italian stock exchange

Construction of the northern branch in Löhne (Westphalia): stop of long-term distribution agreement with Koch Maschinenfabrik

Establishing the office in Elchingen/DE: previously, the Germany sales was realized via the Koch Maschinenfabrik/South Westphalia
