Swedish manufacturer of systems for quality management in the wood industry. The company's world-leading trademark is 'WoodEye', a wood scanning system, which has been manufactured in the 5th generation since 1985.

The Woodeye brand continues under the manufacturer Microtec Linköping.

History

2021	Integration of Microtec (Brixen/Italy), FinScan (Espoo/Finland) and WoodEye (Linköping/Sweden) under the Microtec umbrella. All three companies belong to the Springer Group/ Friesach. FinScan will henceforth operate under the brand name 'Microtec Espoo' and WoodEye under the brand name 'Microtec Linköping'.
2015	In April 2015, the Austrian company SPRINGER took over the Swedish company; production continues.
