BIESSE ROVER 22

Short description

In 2001, the series Rover 24/Rover 22 was introduced, as successor of the Rover 23.

These were machines, which should provide a relatively large equipment, for a comparatively low price. When the series was discontinued in 2005, a modular concept with various model versions and sizes had already been introduced.

Equipment

Working range 3.060 x 1.080 mm. When it was introduced, the machine had a basic configuration with 14 vertical drills, 6 horizontal drills, router head with 7.5 kW, groove saw traversable by 90 degrees, 6-fold tool changer as well as standard c-axis.

2 basic configurations

When the series was discontinued in 2005, two basic configurations with 1 or 2 working spindles, different numbers of drills as well as ride-along tool changer/10-fold changer existed. One could choose from 3 different control types (NC500, NC1000, XNC Compact) as well as special clamping systems, e.g. ATS or Uniclamp.
