BIESSE ROVER 27Short descriptionCNC-machining centre, especially for heavier milling processes in the solid wood sector, which Biesse introduced on the market in the late 1990s and whose production was discontinued in 2005 after the changing of the model policy. EquipmentWorking range 3.432 x 1.300 mm, maximum workpiece thickness 155 mm. From the beginning of production, the machine was offered in two different basic configurations - either a 7.8 kW working spindle with ride-along 5-fold tool changer or 2 working spindles. The machine also had a drilling unit with 20 vertical and 8 horizontal drills. OptionsWorking spindle enlarged to 10 kW, separate horizontal milling aggregate (lock case milling aggregate), chain changer with up to 26 positions, separate 3-fold pickup tool changer for particularly large tools, groove saw - fixed in the beginning, but later traversable by 90°, C-axis. Towards the end of the production period, the drilling unit could be optionally equipped with 43 vertical and 14 horizontal drills. Several special clamping systems (Biesse Uniclamp, ATS) as well as a version with a matrix table (Rover 27FT) were available. The controls NC500, NC1000 as well as XNC were available. |
