BIESSE ROVER 37

Short description

CNC-machining centre with extra large working range for universal applications, which Biesse introduced as the largest model of a series of cantilever machines in 2001.

Equipment

The Rover 37 was available in 3 different lengths

  • S (3.500 mm)
  • L (4.500 mm)
  • XL (6.000 mm) and had a working width of Y 1.850 mm.

The aggregates support was offered in two basic configurations:

Configuration 1 Working spindle 7.5 kW, groove saw traversable between 0 - 90 degrees, drilling unit with 20 vertical and 8 horizontal drills, ride-along tool changer with 7 positions, control NC1000.
Configuration 2 2 working spindles with 7.5 kW, groove saw traversable between 0 - 90 degrees, drilling unit with 20 vertical and 8 horizontal drills, control NC1000.

There also existed a version with matrix table - Rover 37FT.

Options

For both configurations, a drilling unit with 29 vertical drills, 14 horizontal drills as well as a fixedly mounted groove saw, C-axis, Lock case milling aggregate traversable about C-axis, chain changer with 14 or 21 positions, working spindle enlarged to 12 or 13.5 kW and various clamping systems such as for example ATS system or Uniclamp system were available.
