Tampico-Fibre

Tampico-Fibre is a yellow natural fiber, that is produced from the veining of mexican agaves (Agave Lechugilla) and named after the mexican seaport Tampico.

Characteristics

  • Very high resistance to acids, alkalis and temperature
  • High elasticity
  • Rough, abrasive surface, suited for the uptake of water and polishing
  • Retains this property over a long period of time

Application range

  • Polishing brushes, e. g. for polishing and buffing machines
  • Scrubbing brushes, washing-up brushes
  • Bathing and massage brushes
  • Ropes

Synthetic Fibre

Fiber from synthetic productions have the same characteristics, but do not retain them as long as tampico fibre does.
