BIESSE SKIPPER

Short description

In 2004, Biesse introduced a CNC-machining centre with a then new concept for workpiece transport and processing.

The workpiece is fed through the machine. Thus, a work process similar to the through-feed technology is possible. The forward movement in X and Y is exclusively produced by the workpiece, which is clamped with clamping grippers. The machine has two aggregates supports, which are symmetrically arranged on top and bottom. This makes it possible to simultaneously work on two mirrored cabinet sides, or basically, to produce two identical or mirrored parts in one work cycle.

Current models (2017)

At launch, two model versions existed:

Biesse Skipper 100S This version was built until 2007 and had a working range of 2.500 x 1.000 mm.
Biesse Skipper 100L This version was built since 2007 as Biesse Skipper 100 and had a workings range of 3.000 x 1.000 mm.
