The edge milling aggregate on edgebanders of the manufacturer Homag can be equipped with multi-profile tools. By moving the unit sideways via the machine control, the desired profile is used:

• radii of various diameters
• various chamfer angles

When producing small batches with different edge thicknesses and edge profiles, this reduces set-up time and machine length.
