Automatic filter cleaning is a constructional feature of a regenerative filter. The cleaning effect is based on the so-called surface filtration. This implies a dust separation mainly on the surface of the components, on which the dust cake is being generated. The separation is done via central control, by measuring the dust quantity by means of a differential pressure switch; or the cleaning is accomplished after switch-off according to a time setting, which allows a periodic filtration procedure.
