Term from the field of feed-through technology at double end tenner, edge processing lines and production line respectively for edge processing. It´s distinctive that the workpieces with lengthwise through feeds will only be processed on the long tool sides, whilst with the transversal through feed, the processing of short sides take place. The lengthwise processing is fundamentally the first processing stage and comes before the transversal through feed.
