Glued laminated wood

Glued laminated wood consists of at least three board layers, which are glued on top of each other which results into a stabil stack construction, which varies drastically depending on the usage. A high stability will be achieved through a layered structure. The fibres of the glues woods go into the same direction.

Glued laminated wood is being used as timber for carrying elements, e.g. roof and ceiling construction. Also in the staircase to the bridge, glued laminated wood has a high meaning.
