Parallel strand lumber (PSL)

Parallel strand lumber consists of separate strips of veneer, which are glued and pressed together in layers. The result is a component made up of several veneer layers, bent shapes are possible as well. The resulted strips of strand lumber will be used as support or alternative to beams. The properties comply with veneer strength, content of the adhesive and manufacturing process.

usage

Parallel strand lumbers used as timber as support of wood constructions and flooring substructure. In the furniture making parallel strand lumber will be used for furniture basic construction.
