Hard fibreboard (HB)

Hard fibreboard consist of sawmill by-products, wood chips or of woody fibres from regrowing plants. The components will be pressed together with an adhesive. The exact composition and density of the panel comply with the later purpose of usage.

Usage

Hard fibre panels will are being used as timber for wall and roof planking, as well as panels for interior fittings and carrier plates, e.g. for floors. In furniture construction e.g. shelf parts, back panels of furniture (kitchen, cupboards) etc. are made of hard fibre panels.
