Foam panel

Foam panels are multi-layered panels which consist of a lightweight core and have a robust top layer. The core is foam-filled. Thus the weight of the panel is being drastically reduced as the isolation degree increases. The desired stability of the panel is achieved through that robust top layer. For the layer, hard materials are used, e.g. MDF-panels or HDF-panels.

Usage

Foam panels are partly components of inner doors.

common types of wood

For the top layer, beech is being often used.
