Series of wide belt sanders with upper-class basic equipment, made by manufacturer Bütfering for the craft industry, which can be used for all sanding tasks with some special equipment.

Types

• The numerals and letters designate the configuration of the aggregates and the sanding width (e.g. Classic 313 RCE):
• 100, 200, 300 ... machine equipped with 1, 2 or 3 lengthwise sanding units
• 11, 13 .. sanding width 1,100 mm or 1.350 mm
• C. .. Combination unit
• E. .. 'Electronic', stands for the electronically controlled segmental pressure pad CPS
• Q. .. cross sanding unit (see the technical term Cross-Belts)
• R. .. Contact roller unit/sanding rollers aggregate
• The turquoise-colored machines were built in five types/aggregate configurations.
• Machines in red and white and in Homag colors were built in 8 types/aggregate configurations. With the color change from turquoise to red-white, the cross sanding unit is introduced as a new feature of the types 'QC', 'QCE' and 'RQE'. The previous five types are replaced by changed aggregate configurations.
• With the entry of Bütfering into the Homag Group in 2002, the type designation has been restructured. The 'Classic' now stands at the very end, but the term 'Optimat SBC' comes at the beginning.
