Package aligners are deployed for the exact alignment of several single panels i.a. while feeding beam saws.

initial situation

When panels are shoved off a stack, they can move around with each other. As well, the panels not lying exactly on top of each other after being put down can happen during the composition of single panels to a panel package through the area storage system. They have to be aligned mechanically, before they get affixed by the grippers.

head aligner

• Here the alignment takes place only on one reference line by shifting several panels around against telescopic fences in the back machine table by the programmable stop. As soon as the alignment was completed, the grippers get and affix the panel package, the head aligners submerge and the cutting process may begin.

package aligner

• Usually the alignment takes place on all four narrow sides of the panels, by deploying push equipment on all four sides. These complete alignment is i.a. necessary when the panel package got divided in an angle plant.
