With the introduction of the Nesting machine of the Vantage as well as the BHP series Weeke launched a completely-mnewly-developed machine concept on the market, which also contained some technical innovations.

For the first time the aggregates support has been divided into two supports with independent z-axis each for a working spindle and drilling unit.

To be able to keep the series production of the machine equipment as flexible as possible, three new drilling units with modular systems has been developed which were additionally flexibly extendible: V10, V18 and V25

As for the Nesting processing often only vertical drills are necessary, the basis equipment always consisted of a drilling dear with vertical drills (afterwards also the naming of the respective unit). This drilling gear had already prepared the expansion for horizontal drills and a groove unit, so that this could be easily delivered when purchasing the machine.

• basic equipment: 10 vertical drilling spindles in 32mm-grid, from which 6 go in X- direction and 5 in Y-direction (arrangement in an L-shape, hence a drill can be used for two directions).
• additionally:
• two or four horizontal drilling Spindeln in x-direction
• two horizontal drilling Spindeln in y-direction
• groove saw 125 mm, pivotable for 90° for grooving in X- and Y-direction
