With introducing the nesting machine of the Vantage as well as the BHP series Weeke put a completely newly-developed machine concept on the market which also contained some technical innovations.

Initially the aggregates support have been divided into two supports with independent z-aixs each for working spindle and drilling units.

Despite the series production in order to create machine equipment as flexibly as possible, three new drilling groups have been developed in the modular system which were additionally extendible: V10, V18 and V25

As the Nesting process often requires only vertical drills, the basic equipment always consisted of one drilling gear and a vertical drill. (also the naming of the designated unit after that). This drilling unit had already prepared the expansion for horizontal drills and a groove saw unit, so that they could be ordered in addition during the purchase of this machine.

equipment of the drilling unit V25:

• basic equipment: 25 vertikale boring spindles in the 32mm-grid, from which 15 in X- direction and 9 in Y-direction (arrangement in an L-shape, hence one drill can be used in both directions) as well as two additionally strengthened boring spindles, e.g. for drilling holes.
• in addition:
• two or four horizontal drilling Spindeln in x-direction
• two horizontal drill spindles in y-direction
• groove saw 125 mm, pivotable for 90° for grooving in X- and Y-direction
