WEEKE O-TRIX-table

The o-Trix-Tisch is a special table form particularly used in cNC-machining centres exclusively for Nestinganwendungen by HOMAG and WEEKE.

mode of operation

It´s a smooth machine table, in which a locking mesh has been milled in in regular intervals through which the vacuum can be sucked for clamping the workpieces. In case of a partial occupancy the holes can be closed with rubber plugs.

Since the end of the 2008, star-shaped grooves emanating from the holes are located in machine tables to facilitate a better distribution of the vacuum and to create suction pressure between the holes.

The O-TRIX-Tisch (Alternative zum MATRIX-Tisch) has been designed especially for Nesting procedures and more inappropriate for other applications (particularly the single processing). There is no groove grid, in which the sponge rubber could be set in so that the workpiece contours can be trailed very coarsely only.

advantage

The advantage that especially high vacuum performances can be sucked on by the high-volumed holes compared to a groove grid. During the use of the Nesting procedure an especially high suction volume flow is required because of the porous Schonplatten.

A further feature of the O-TRIX-table is an over-pressure which puffs up an air cushion. That facilitates particularly dealing with the big format panels and the base board.

accessories

For the O-TRIX-table, diverse vacuum Camping system are being offered for facilitating single processing. The suction cups will be put on the locking mesh for affixation. The relatively coarse hole screen makes the work restrictive, though.
