Different from the automatic central lubrication there can be several lubrication stations also manual interfaces at a few maintenance-intensive machine components.

An automatic lubrication can be done in different ways.

The simplest way of an automatic lubrication consists in a lubrication container, which persistantly releases a small quantity of lubrication on the lubricated spot to-be. Such lubrication is sensible, when a permanent and constant consumption of lubrication is taking place.

Most of the modern machines need no constant release of lubrication. In such case, the lubrication container is connected to a dosing unit, which automatically releases the lubrication on designated spots in pre-programmed lubricating intervals.
