SCHEER FM

The products of the FM series of the manufacturer Scheer reach back to the 1950´s. As joint and fine cut machine for tearing-free cutting of veneer / veneer packages, the machines of the SCHEER FM series have a hand wheel and a cable pull in command for operating the pressure beam as well as a manually operated sawing unit. (e.g. Modell FM 2).

In the following years, further models of this technological type has come on the market and the field application has been expanded on the cut of panel materials. (for example SCHEER FM 14, FM 16). Consequently the FM-models have now been offered as "automatic panel and veneer saws", which explains, that WOOD TEC PEDIA lists the series as veneer saw as well as panel saw.

At the beginning of the 90´s the machine types were separated in the production. Beam saws were, from this point on, available under the designation PA and the veneer saws kept the model term FM (e.g. SCHEER FM 19).
