The biesse uPI is a program simulation independent from programming station for CNC-machining centres.

The control of the machine takes place completely via uPI. These consist of a smaller wagon, which contains a PC, a screen, a keyboard, a mouse and various other needed input-machines like barcode reasder and remote control.

The uPI is connected to a control cabinet but can be randomly placed in front of the machine and thus facilitates a better control and surveillance of the machining process in comparison to a steadily-installed control.
