Radial arm sawCircular saw which can be stated as a stationary machine or as a mobile saw. A feature all of them have in common is that there's a guiding trail (radial arm), the sawing unit moves alongside to. The cutting movement takes place with smaller machines, normally manually (via manual feeding). For great cutting lengths and heavier sawing works, machines with pneumatically and hydraulically supported drive are available. Often the sawing unit can be pivoted and/or tilted. The radial arm saw was invented in 1923 by the American Raymond DEWALT. Particular examples
