HOLZMA Machine designations

By means of the model name of HOLZMA panel sizing saws, equipment features, performance classes and cutting data i.a. can be derived from. 2017 changed HOMAG the marketing strategy with the slogan 'One Company - One Brand'. In the future, panel sizing saws by HOLZMA carry the HOMAG logo. The name HOLZMA will not be displayed on the manufactured machines any further. The machine terminology has been kept though.

The machine name consists of a three-digit initial and a three-digit number

  • 1. letter: H = HOLZMA
  • 2. letter: kind of machine
  • V = vertical saw (for example HVP 120)
  • P = horizontal beamsaw (e.g. HPP)
  • Q = vertical saw (e.g. HQP 11)
  • 3. letter: kind of feeding
  • M = machines with manual loading (for example HPM 120)
  • P = program fence machines with loading from the front (e.g. HPP 250)
  • C - Compact (intermediate table) (z.B. HCL 11, HCV 11)
  • K - Kompakt (intermediate table) (z.B. angle plant HKL 300)
  • L = lift - machines with automatic loading (for example HPL 350)
  • V = vacuum - machines with vacuum loading, (e.g. HPV)

three-digit number

  • 1. number = series, power class
  • 2.-3. number = specifications, cutting capacity/ saw blade projection
  • additional names in machines until the mid-2000s:
  • e.g. 43/43 or 38/22 - cutting length in decimetres program fence/ lift table
  • L - left machine - angle stop / control panel is located on the left side, if you stand in front of the machine in view of the machine
