Tools for edge milling aggregates on edgebanders of the manufacturer BRANDT from the HOMAG group are also known as "turning plate combination cutters".

Combined cutters are equipped with carbide tipped cutters, whose geometry allows both the flush milling of the glued edge and the milling of edge radii. This is achieved by a manual or pneumatic two-point adjustment of the edge milling aggregate. The machine operator can thus determine from the control panel whether the glued edge is milled flush with the panel material or is provided with a radius. The adjustment end points are set precisely when the machine is set up using mechanical digital counters.
