Nailing unit

Prefabricated houses production

Nailing units at machining centers for prefabricated houses are used to join individual elements, in particular to attach panels to the framework (planking).

Automatic and computer-controlled nailing can be carried out. By equally deep impressions results a more uniform nail image compared to traditional nailing tools. Partially, both horizontal and vertical nailing is possible.

This processing unit is usually found on multifunctional bridges.

Another option for connecting different elements are clamp units.

Carcass presses

Furthermore nailing units can be frequently found on automatic carcass clamps. Their function consists of affixing the backside during the clamping process. Often those nailing units are fully-automatic and equipped with several CNC-axis and sensor technology in order to affix the backside from all sides around, often described as nailing robot.

CNC machining centres

Occasionally CNC-machining centres are equipped for window constructio with nailing units in order to affix the glass strips onto the frame pieces automatically.
