The series "MINIMAX C" is since 2017 in the SCM-group a term for combined sawing and milling machine. It's not a newly introduced series, but merely a destructuring of consisting series and type designation.

The series MINIMAX originally derives from the manufacturer of the same name of carpentry gluing machine, of the workpiece of the SCM group.

From 2017 on a complete restructuring of the type desgination within the SCM group took place.

The label of the original manufacturer stays with the model name. So for example a MINI-MAX C 30 GENIUS turned into SCM MINIMAX C 30G.
