The series "Gabbiani" describes in the SCM-group beamsaws since 2017. It's not about a newly introduced series, but merely a destructuring of existing series and type designations.

The designation "GABBIANI" originally comes from the manufacturer of beamsaws of the same name, which has been part of the SCM Group since 1986.

From 2017 on a complete destructuring of the type designation within the SCM group took place. The brand name of the original manufacturer are kept in the model name. Thus a GABBIANI GALAXY T3 turned into a SCM GABBIANI GT3.

Types and their classification

• GABBIANI P - for hand-cutting and small batch production
• GABBIANI S - for series production
• GABBIANI G - for industrial applications
• GABBIANI A - angular systems for industrial cutting or large-scale production
