Profile collet chuck unit on edgebander by manufacturer BIESSE

This multi profiles cutter-collet chuck - unit is designed for the industrial application and will be used on machines of the series STREAM B and other ones. Top and bottom scraper are affixed at the common tripod, opposed to light collet chuck units where the top scrapers are hung at the top pressure beam. With the affixation on a tripod, vibrations are to be absorbed and avoided through the machine body, so that the vibrations of the top pressure beam can be transmitted to the top scraper which affects the working result.

The adjustment of the units takes place with this unit through a pneumatic 4 point stop system as opposed to the unit RB 30, where the unit will be applied through a 4 NC-axis .
