HEESEMANN MFA 10 OSR I

HEESEMANN Orbital sanding machine based on the wide belt sander MFA 10.

The OSR I orbital sanding machine is used for fine finishing of workpieces with transverse wood grain (frames, veneer pictures, mosaic parquet). The calibration can be done by an upstream wide belt sander in the working process with appropriate equipment.

Configuration

The heart of the OSR I are two successive oscillating sanding units of the type OSR of the new generation (from approx. 2016). The first OSR unit is equipped with a sanding belt of 180 graining, the oscillation radius is set as large as possible. This ensures that the transverse sanding marks are broken up over a large area. The second unit is equipped with a 220 abrasive belt and a smaller oscillation radius for the finish.

Upstream of the OSR units is a RUT disc brush unit for breaking sharp workpiece edges and a cylindrical brush for removing the RUT sanding marks in depressions in the workpiece surface.

Machine types

The orbital grinding machine MFA 10 OSR I can only carry out fine sanding of the above-mentioned workpieces.

With the help of the combined calibrating and fine sanding machine MFA 10 OSR II complete machining is possible.
