When the first machine has been introduced in 2001, it was still a supporting machine, whose production has been ceased in 2003.

But Morbidelli introduced in 2002 a model in a stand portal design.

A considerable distribution experienced the series with the introduction of models Morbidelli Planet HP in the year of 2003, which has still been brought to the market 15 years later with solely minor changes as SCM morbidelli P1000.

2015 a supporting machine with the name "planet" has been introduced, the Morbidelli Planet P800.
