Brushing unit

One or several aggregates in sanding and brushing machines with different functions depending on the type of aggregate and brush:

dedusting/cleaning brush soft, single 'hairs' visible, for brushing out grinding dust from porous workpiece surfaces; bristle material: sisal, nylon
satin finishing/smoothing brush soft, partially individual hairs not visible, but soft, abrasive-coated plastic body; for shining/smoothing the surface of painted and waxed workpieces; material: Scotch Brite
structuring brushhard, individual bristles recognizable; by brushing out the softwood, a rustic effect is achieved on e.g. solid wood floorboards; bristle material: plastic bristles (e.g. Anderlon), optionally with attached abrasive grit or metal bristles (e.g. brass, steel, stainless steel, phosphor bronze)
brush roller for cleaning the feeding belt, usually mounted below the worktable at the workpiece outlet
sanding brushes made of sanding lamellas (Fladder) and sisal-sanding lamellas-combination (FlexTrim), for fine sanding of light softwoods (white wood): type as horizontally continuous brush roller or as vertically arranged, rotating disc brushes
