The cross sanding unit H on wide belt sanders from the manufacturer KÜNDIG is also called "high gloss unit" because it was developed exactly for this purpose. However, the strength of this unit is not only the lacquer sanding of high gloss surface but also the fine sanding of workpiece sections with wood fibres running transversely to the feed direction. It is located in the area of the workpiece outlet, on the outside of the machine frame. This leaves space in the machine frame for other aggregates.
