ALBERTI POLAR

Series of CNC-machining centres with 5-axis-spindle by manufacturer Alberti.

The speciality of this machine consists in the main spindle being able to place drilling units as well which will be screwed over the C-axis. Thus the diagonal hole series and horizontal drills are possible in arbitrary angles.

The first model of the construction series has been introduced as "Polas CN" in 1999.

In 2004 a reworked model "Polar evolution" which has been constructed parallel to the precursor for some time and completely replaced in mid-2005.

It's a machine with standing portal on whcih the unit carrier processes in x.

The Y axis will be realized through 2-proceeding tables. The main spindle is laid out as forkshaped head and equipped with a HSK-F63 tool intake.

The machine has a Pickup changer in command, which can be expanded according to customer specification. Standard are 10 tool changing spots.

The performance of the main spindle accounts to standardly 7,7 kW and workpieces in the dimensions 3000 x 1500 mm and up to a thickness of 150 mm can be processed.
